The 2017-2018 basic course for doctors
With the A and B certificates you can be listed in the WAVAN practice register. This register is used by insurers as a basis for the reimbursement of fees.
The acupuncture certificate for doctors
This exam corresponds entirely to the exam of the German “Ärztekammern” and results in the B-certificate WAVAN – DÄGfA. The basic course can only be followed in full. All classes, including the G-Practice courses, must be followed before the final examination can be taken.
The basic course G1 – G15 comprises 15 course days of 8 hours each. Practical lessons are also given, including 8 days of 10 hours and 1 day of 8 hours of exam preparation. The entire course will last a minimum of 2 years. Course days are exchangeable to a limited degree after consultation with our administration. There may be costs involved in this.
The practical classes can only be followed after completion of all basic course classes (G1 – G15). An A-certificate in the theory classes is a precondition for taking the B-certificate exam.
The organisation reserves the right to cancel course days with insufficient participants.
